This class's emphasis on Workplace Communication is not primarily theoretical or scholarly. It is a physical skill that demands practise. That is why you will be asked to participate in a variety of tasks in which you will record yourself speaking on camera and then view yourself. Learning how to give a presentation is similar to learning how to ride a bicycle. Simply repeat the process several times, working through the wobbling and falling off phases until you get it correct.
