The Bachelor of Arts degree course in Sociology is the study of social relations, social stratification, social interaction, culture, etc. Broadly, the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree course is the study of society. The Bachelor of Arts degree course in Sociologymainly covers the study of some of its specialized fields namely Applied Sociology, Comparative Sociology, Cultural Sociology, Collective Behaviour, Crime and Delinquency, Community and Demography.The employment opportunities for sociologists is predicted to increase by 4% from 2019-2029, as per US Bureau of Labour Statistics reports, which is fast as compared to many occupations.The course deals with the various aspects of the social world including the psychological nature of men and women and the barriers between the different social strata. In other words, we can say that Sociology is the systematic study of society, culture, and the relationship between various social levels. It also explains the relationship between various individuals, their experiences and their attitudes.
