A one-year professional diploma education in the subject of fashion design is known as a diploma in fashion designing. Applicants must have completed their 10+2 requirements from a certified board. The admission process for fashion design programmes is based on a merit list derived from the qualifying exam, such as the 12th grade or an equivalent exam.

The curriculum for the Diploma in Fashion Designing covers topics like Introduction to Fashion Design, History of Fashion Design, Principles of Fashion Design, etc.
Following completion of the fashion design diploma, candidates are given positions in a variety of fields, including fashion illustrator, fashion forecaster, quality assurance manager, fashion lawyer etc.
